MANE participates at Les Rencontres d'Aubrac event

Every summer since 1994, the Aveyron comes alive with a particular colour, thanks to the festival called “Les Rencontres d'Aubrac”,on the road to Compostelle. A true literary festival, this three-day open meeting has become an event not to be missed where specialists side with an audience of enthusiastic readers – fans, scholars and professionals are involved.

Presentations and lectures by authors, academics, filmmakers or artistsare followed by discussions with the public...

Readings and unusual shows are performed byactors, storytellers, musicians ...

This year’s theme was "the imaginations of Eden."

On this occasion, the organizers decided to set up a debate on their respective creative process between a great chef, Michel Bras, and a perfumer, Violaine Collas (MANE)... How it brings them closer or separates them, their sources of inspiration and of course their feelings regarding the theme of Eden. The beginning of a creative complicity, the opportunity to see how fragrance still gives rise to dreams and fantasies, and new sources of inspiration for Violaine Collas.

These meetings also provided an opportunity for a discussion around French know-how, its heritage and expansion abroad, with the participation of Michel Bras, great supporter of local products of the Aubrac, who also runs a starred restaurant in Japan and who just passed his restaurant on to his son Sébastien, and MANE, since the 5th generation of the family has started joining the company to continue in the path of previous generations who have exported its expertise beyond French borders.
