MANE at SIGEP 2014

MANE Italia at the International Exhibition for the Artisan production of Gelato, Pastry, Confectionery and Bakery (SIGEP)

Reality exceeded all expectations: the Rimini Fiera kicked off 2014 with an extraordinarily positive sign for Italy´s economy in a strategic sector with a very high export profile, since artisan gelato is a wonderful ambassador for Italian food worldwide.

The SIGEP was held from January 18th-22nd, 2014 in Rimini, Italy. It is an annual event which witnessed a sensational leap in foreign visitor figures during this 35th edition: +32%. The expo is acknowledged as the world’s most important in the artisan gelato sector and is also strengthening its position in the artisan bakery field.

The exhibition area covers 110,000 m2 and this year hosted a record over 173,000 visitors. MANE Italia took part in this successful edition with a 64m2 stand. It was an ideal opportunity to showcase MANE’s Ice-cream Centre of Excellence’s capabilities and new collections developed in recent months for artisan and industrial ice cream. A chef was also present on the stand to prepare demonstrations with the pastes of the Tradition range, providing quality solutions for desserts and pastries.
