This award in recognition of Jean Mane's outstanding career also celebrates the collective success of the entire MANE Group family.
The Lifetime Achievement Award recognises exceptional leadership and contributions to the spice, fragrance and flavour sectors. The International Spice Conference gathers industry experts and celebrates progress and innovation while addressing challenges and opportunities within the market.
In his speech, Jean expressed his deep gratitude and humility, reflecting on his career with MANE, a company founded by his great-great-grandfather in 1871. Over four generations, MANE has grown from a local family-owned business to a global leader in the Fragrance and Flavours industry that has stayed true to the principles of innovation, quality, and sustainability that define its legacy.
“This award recognises the passion, dedication and hard work of our family, team and employees who have been integral to our company’s success,” said Jean.
Jean also commented on the deep personal connection he felt to the spice industry, acknowledging that his understanding and appreciation have deepened over the years. As he watched the spice industry grow, he realised that there was a strong correlation between spices, culture and innovation, and expressed pride in having contributed to that growth. He stated, “The future of the spice and fragrance industry is incredibly bright, and I am excited to see how we will all continue to shine on this remarkable journey.”
