MANE pulled out all the stops at the World Perfumery Congress 2026, a key gathering in Monterey, California that attracts fragrance professionals from around the world. Our Ingredients team featured a selection of innovative ingredients combining creativity, technology and sustainability.
Here’s a closer look at what we showcased this year:
- CEDARWOOD TEXAS ESSENTIAL OIL RECTIFIED: This upcycled ingredient derived from the wood and ranching industries has a warm and vibrant dry wood profile that brings structure and elegance to fragrance compositions.
- ORRIS PURE JUNGLE ESSENCE™: Extracted using supercritical CO₂ technology, this ingredient captures the delicate powdery woodiness of orris root with remarkable purity and intensity.
- ELIXIRIS: This unique co-extract has a textured and luxurious floral and woody signature that blends the refinement of orris with the character of cedarwood.
- VAYANOL: Produced through biotechnology, this powerful ingredient combines sweet, smoky, and clove-like facets, making it ideal for spicy, woody and gourmand accords.
- DRIFTWOOD: Developed from the exclusive captive molecule Ambramone™, this ingredient has a sophisticated, salty and woody profile with luminous ambery nuances inspired by the sea breeze and sun-bleached wood.
- SUBLIMOLIDE: This vegan macrocyclic musk balances animalic sensuality with a clean crystalline quality and is enhanced by fruity and powdery undertones.
MANE’s Innovation Corner also offered visitors an immersive journey through three complementary innovation platforms. First, E-MOTION LAB demonstrated how mobile extraction technology captures the authentic freshness of plants directly at the source. Then JUNGLE ESSENCE™ KIT highlighted the exceptional olfactory richness achieved through supercritical CO₂ extraction, which can also be combined with E-MOTION LAB. Finally, WELLMOTION™ showcased how raw materials and fragrances can be designed to support emotional well-being through scientifically grounded sensory experiences.
We are also thrilled to announce that our co-extract, ELIXIRIS, won the "Most Innovative Ingredient" award at the event!
