With the collaboration of the famous photographer Thierry Bouët, the METI (Mouvement des Entreprises de Taille Intermédiaire – a movement which federates companies of intermediate size in France) conceived a unique photo exhibition called « Des Usines et des Hommes » (Factories and Men), to put in the spotlight 35 actors of the French industry.
For six months, Thierry Bouët explored the French territory to capture series of images which promote everyday’s modernity, innovation capacity and human talent in various lines of business of the French industry.
The MANE Group and its historical headquarters, located in Le Bar-sur-Loup, were selected to feature among these technological ambassadors of the “Made in France”.
The inauguration of the exhibition took place at "Le Petit Palais" (Paris Museum of Fine Arts) on the 14th of September, 2015.
Several other events will be organized to highlight this exhibition: from September 14 to October 4, 2015, the pictures will be displayed outdoors in Paris, along the banks of the Seine river (Port du Gros Caillou) and on a dedicated website with "making-off" information.
In October and November, the photographs will be presented on 1,500 bus shelters across France. A book will be published in December.
