MANE participated again this year in the biggest food and drink fair of the Middle East, which took place in Dubai (25-28 February 2013). The exhibition hosted a record 4 200 exhibitors from 110 countries in 113 000m² of exhibition floor space.
MANE is strongly established in the Middle East region through Banawi MANE Flavors, its Jeddah-based joint venture with Banawi Industrial Group, offering R&D, marketing, sensory and production capabilities locally.
MANE exhibited during the Gulfood its key capabilities and technologies in different applications such as soft drinks, dairy, confectionery, bakery, savoury snacks and culinary, showing innovative concepts in line with strategic trends. MANE also introduced its new range of high-performing emulsions, developed to meet the preferences of Middle Eastern and African consumers.
Physcool® Synergy, MANE’s ultimate cooling solution, is applied in hard boiled candies to demonstrate that the composition, using 2 trigeminal sensates selected for their synergistic effect, provides long lasting freshness with no menthol taste for a pure, clean feeling.
Processed meat developers and ice-cream manufacturers could also discover MANE’s specific expertise in those sectors. Full information on MEAT PRO, MANE’s Centre of Excellence for the Meat industry based near Paris, France and on ICE, MANE’s Centre of Excellence for Ice-Cream based near Milan, Italy, was available on the stand. For both sectors MANE offers 360° solutions, covering functional and aromatic aspects of product formulation.
