MANE KANCOR is proud to have won the CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) Food Safety Award, at a virtual ceremony held on the 18th of December, in the category of Large Food Business – Spices, Seasoning, Oleoresins and Condiments. The ceremony was presented by Miss Rita Teaotia, Chairperson, Food Safety and Standards Authority of India. Other eminent national and International speakers also took part in the function.
The award was created by the CII in 2010 to promote internationally benchmarked practices on Food Safety in Small, Medium and Large Food Businesses; not to mention build capacity in the food value chain.
This year, besides covering sectors like Dairy, Bakery, Beverages, Edible Oils, Ready to Eat Snacks, Quick Service Restaurants, Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Primary Production, Joint Partnership Applications of Customers and Suppliers demonstrating Food Safety Excellence; the Award program has expanded to include E-Commerce: Grocery Delivery Service; E-Commerce: Food Delivery Service and Innovations in Food Safety Systems and Practices (open to all criteria, sectors).
