It has been an amazing month for MANE KANCOR, who has received two awards: the 2020 Safe Industrial Practices Award and the EHS Gold Award for ‘Best Organisation for Overall EHS Practices’.
MANE’s production facility in Angamaly was awarded the 2020 Safe Industrial Practices Award in the Large Factory category. MANE has been perfecting its system and policy to ensure a safe working environment for its collaborators. We are extremely proud, especially as this is the second consecutive year that we are being recognised for our consistent efforts in maintaining the well-being of our staff. A company’s best asset is its collaborators, and we are very grateful for their contributions to our company’s success.
The EHS Gold Award for ‘Best Organisation for Overall EHS Practices’ was announced at the 2021 CII Inter-Industry Competition on environment, health and safety (EHS) and sharing of best practices in EHS management.
The objective of this competition was to evaluate EHS preparedness in developing sustainable growth in organisations at three levels: Economy, Society and Environment. Categories included Environment, Health, Safety and these three levels combined.
MANE KANCOR demonstrated how the organisation is committed to creating a safe and healthy working environment. The team showcased a culture of workplace safety, health and welfare that benefits all the stakeholders and community around MANE KANCOR. The organisation achieved this by working in partnership with collaborators, vendors, customers and the company’s extended stakeholders through appropriate and effective communication, training and enforcement.
