MANE China officially commenced construction on Phase II of its Pinghu production facility on 31 October 2025. Representing a total investment of USD 70 million, the 14,000 square-metre expansion project is set to enhance MANE’s localised manufacturing capabilities in China, with a particular emphasis on fragrances.

“This project underscores MANE’s ongoing commitment to long-term investment in China and the Asia-Pacific region”, said Denis Raffaud, Managing Director – Greater China.

In response to steady growth and evolving customer needs in China, MANE has consistently bolstered its local industrial facilities. Phase I of the Pinghu site, inaugurated in June 2023, established a robust production base for flavour manufacturing.

The rising demand for fragrances makes Phase II a logical progression in MANE’s expansion strategy. This phase will focus on a wide range of fragrance formats and technologies, including liquids, adsorption, spray drying, microencapsulation and macroencapsulation. Encapsulation technology in particular will be a key feature of this new phase, facilitating long-lasting and stable scent release across various applications.

Upon completion in Q3 2027, Pinghu Phase II is projected to boost MANE’s annual production by 17,000 tonnes. This significantly enhances the Group’s ability to serve customers in the Asia-Pacific and moves it a step further towards achieving its ambition of a comprehensive, future-ready production platform in China.

With its increased capacity, broader range of product offerings, and heightened technological capabilities, MANE is poised to continue to support customer growth and seize opportunities in the decade ahead.
