As we reach the end of the MANE Group’s first global Sustainability Month filled with exciting events and initiatives, it’s time to reflect on what we have accomplished together.
Key highlights included films screenings and round-table discussions on fighting extreme poverty; a talk by a hydrologist on the sustainable management of water, a precious resource; mentorship programmes for high school students; commemoration events at UN Headquarters; donating sustainably grown food to food deserts; and planting trees in urban environments.
Our different partnerships and initiatives all had one common goal: to help build a fairer, more sustainable society and workplace. Turning what was Sustainability Week into a month-long event required additional logistics and organisation. The initiative provided invaluable opportunities for team-building and raising awareness of the importance of our CSR strategy.
