The city of Nice (France) will host from September 27th to October 1st the most important scientific event in Chemical Engineering and in Biochemical Engineering in Europe.
The 10th European Congress of Chemical Engineering (ECCE10) will be held in conjunction with the 3rd European Congress of Applied Biotechnology (ECAB3) and the 5th European Process Intensification Conference (EPIC5). The global theme for this group of events is “Chemical and biochemical engineering for a new sustainable process industry in Europe”.
Further to the success of the last events held in Berlin (2011) and in The Hague (2013), more than 2,500 participants from all around the world and about 80 exhibitors and partners are expected.
This year, MANE will be sponsoring the event. The French leader in the Fragrance and Flavour industry will actively participate in the congress, holding a booth in the exhibition area and a giving conference. The booth will be dedicated to the presentation of MANE’s activities and innovations with a special focus on Green Chemistry applications.
Tony PHAN, process & project engineer from MANE’s Aroma Chemicals and Natural Extraction department, will present "GREEN MOTION™ by MANE: Industrial application of a new sustainable assessment tool on September 29th.
GREEN MOTION™ is a new metric developed by MANE which enable to rate the compliance of flavour and fragrance ingredients with the twelve principles of green chemistry on a 0 to 100 scale.
