Climate strategy is a top priority for the MANE Group, and the need for climate action has never been more dire.
The MANE Group has responded to the Science Based Target initiative’s urgent call for corporate climate action. By committing to align with 1.5°C and net-zero pathways through the Business Ambition for 1.5°C campaign, the Group joins other business and industry leaders in taking ambitious climate action.
This additional commitment reinforces far-reaching existing near-term decarbonisation targets in line with climate science and the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). These targets aim to halve our Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030 compared to 2018 and to reduce our Scope 3 emissions intensity by 58% by 2030 compared to 2018.
The current deployment of our near-term action plan to reduce our carbon emissions will help us establish our long-term net-zero targets, subject to SBTi approval over the next two years. We are in it for the long haul, carefully setting in motion today the actions that will help us ensure a lasting and better future for all.
