MANE at SIGEP 2012

The 33rd edition of the Sigep, the International Exhibition for the Artisan production of Gelato, Pastry, Confectionery and Bakery, was held successfully from January 21st to the 25th in Rimini, Italy. This annual exhibition is acknowledged as the world’s most important event in the artisan gelato sector and as a primary European showcase for artisan Italian confectionery. The exhibition halls, covering a total area of 90,000 m², hosted approximately 800 exhibitors and over 100,000 visitors.
MANE participated actively in this international exhibition, which constituted the first occasion to showcase the new visual identity developed to promote its ice-cream capabilities, which combine the Group’s international flavour savoir-faire with Gelcrem®’s artisan gelato heritage.
In 2011, MANE’s Italian flavour premises were inaugurated as the Group’s Ice-Cream Centre of Excellence. Located in Bareggio, ICE was designed to foster innovation and creativity for both artisan and industrial producers, offering them a complete range of solutions including flavours, pastes, toppings, ripples, stabilizers and mixes.
